Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Bellevue Downtown. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a high-quality dining experience that meets their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring of food and beverage staff to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Plan and execute events and meetings, including banquets and conferences, to ensure seamless execution and high guest satisfaction.
  • Support employees in the restaurant and room service to ensure guests receive attentive and efficient service.
  • Proactively engage with guests to gather feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor food and beverage deliveries to ensure portion control, quality, and presentation meet our high standards.
  • Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs and inventory management.
  • Oversee key control and cash control procedures to ensure operating standards are met.
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Banquet Captain or similar role is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
  • Ability to stand and move around for an entire shift, with the ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Availability to cover shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
