We are seeking a skilled Costumed Character Performer to join our team at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. As a key member of our entertainment team, you will be responsible for leading and performing in character-themed shows, engaging with audiences, and promoting a fun and energized atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Perform in character-themed shows, using improvisation and basic scripts as needed.
- Engage with audiences, encourage participation, and promote a fun and energized atmosphere.
- Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
- Host live events and activities, explaining and promoting the rules and regulations of the facility.
- Respond to emergencies and observe activity in the facility, ensuring the safety and welfare of guests.
- Prepare for shows, clean and maintain equipment and supplies, and maintain size and weight requirements based on costume size.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year customer or sales experience.
- Previous public performance, acting, and entertainment experience.
- Experience entertaining children and large groups of people.
- CPR Certification and First Aid Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
