Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Alignment: Identify the appropriate technology for each task and provide a comprehensive blueprint for successful implementation, ensuring a balance between business needs, performance requirements, costs, and complexity.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and secure support for data-driven solutions.
  • Documentation: Create thorough documentation for all architectural designs and implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect or in a comparable role.
  • Extensive experience with both on-premises and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficient in ETL processes and tools for deploying and managing data products.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and Databricks, or Spark frameworks.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL for data processing and manipulation.
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and data privacy regulations.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data architectures, including Lakehouse and Medallion concepts.
  • Proven ability to create scalable data ecosystems.
  • Experience in securing business buy-in and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Track record of innovative thinking to develop creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Snowflake Certification).
  • Experience with additional programming languages and tools.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development and frameworks.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
