We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to support our wind blade manufacturing operation division in Newton, Iowa. This role is responsible for ensuring contractual compliance and customer satisfaction by implementing and managing quality requirements on Projects/Programs/Products.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in the development and continual improvement of our IATF 16949 Management Quality System. As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will lead and participate in continuous improvement kaizens, CAPAs, and other strategic improvement projects. Your ability to originate Quality Control Plans per the AIAG Template will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage quality requirements on Projects/Programs/Products according to contract requirements (e.g., specification, statement of work, PO, etc.) to ensure contractual compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development and continual improvement of the IATF 16949 Management Quality System.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement kaizens, CAPAs, and other strategic improvement projects.
  • Originate Quality Control Plans per the AIAG Template.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
  • B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering required.
  • Direct experience with ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
  • Direct experience with Lean Manufacturing, TQM and/or Six Sigma.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health and dental insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation plans.
