Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs
  • Provide clinical services to patients and professional staff, including medication therapy management and education
  • Interact with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment strategies
  • Assist in supervising the activities of department employees, as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent degree
  • Completion of ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship, or equivalent experience
  • Licensure in the state of Texas
  • Pharmacy Sterile Product certification, if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent degree
  • Experience in clinical pharmacy practice, including medication therapy management and education
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
