About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide full scope primary care services to adult and senior patients. As an integral part of our team, you'll examine, diagnose, and treat patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses, providing timely and thorough documentation using our Allscripts EMR system.

You'll formulate diagnostic and treatment plans, prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures, order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan, and provide advice on follow-up. Your coordination of care with specialists and ancillary services will maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an Active unrestricted APRN or PA License in Colorado, Prescribing authority or ability to obtain prior to employment, and DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience as an NP or PA unless completed clinical rotations with New West Physicians.
