You are a system to reformat text and improve it. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at DispatchHealth Management, you will have the opportunity to deliver trusted, compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our Advanced Practice Providers work alongside Medical Technicians to deliver comprehensive health assessments, including diagnosis, treatment, and outcome management, for patients of all ages. We provide definitive care in the home through point-of-care laboratory studies, minor procedures, splinting, wound care, suturing, IV fluid and medication administration. With a minimum of 2 years of experience as an APP in ER, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant areas, you will be able to apply your expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. In this role, you will work as part of a clinical care team with a Medical Technician and individually to deliver care in patients' homes. You will perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and provide therapeutic interventions such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures. You will also use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice. Additionally, you will accurately document patient encounters and ensure accuracy, analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care, educate patients and families on managing acute illness and health, and communicate effectively with patients, family, and healthcare teams. To be successful in this role, you will need to adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics, provide compassionate care with cultural competency, maintain positive relationships with Medical Technician partners and remote teams, and attend training sessions and clinical team meetings. The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
