Furnace Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Assistant to join our team at TKO StaffPros, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our furnaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow established work instructions to perform tasks safely and consistently.
  • Work in all areas of the furnace, including casting operations.
  • Minimize losses throughout the process.
  • Monitor the operation of gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure the machine is working properly.
  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material moving equipment.
Requirements:
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical work in warm areas.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills are a plus.
  • Adaptability to various working conditions.
  • Ability to work in a team.
Work Schedule:

12 hour rotating shifts, 14 shifts per month with every month 7 consecutive days off (1 week off every month).
