About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Consumer Strategy to join our team at Verizon. As a key member of our VCG Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our Value portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior leadership in crafting analyses, actions, and messaging for key strategic topics
  • Develop structured near and long-term perspectives for Verizon Value, with a strong outside-in orientation
  • Define and support the strategic planning process and other key operational activities
  • Leverage data analysis to support arguments and recommendations
  • Identify emerging trends, critical business risks, and opportunities to inform all levels of our strategy
  • Lead projects independently, including research, analysis, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and recommendations forward
  • Present logical and persuasive arguments adapted to audience
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience; or six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Two or more years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, or similar experience
  • Financial modeling experience, including forecasting, creating business plans, and analyzing financial data
  • Strong consulting and/or experience with corporate/BU strategy
  • Experience with analyzing data to drive critical business decisions and recommendations to shape business strategy
  • Experience researching market/industry trends, company valuations, and identifying opportunities for Verizon's growth
  • Experience working in a large, dynamic, complex organization, with strong interpersonal relationships and leadership skills
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and ability to bring others along in data analysis and supporting arguments
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Solid quantitative and analytical skills, including robust financial modeling skills
