Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team on a relief basis. As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic procedures in Fluoroscopy, working with patients of varying ages, and maintaining high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations of varying difficulty by positioning the patient and programming proper exposure factors and table movements.
  • Select proper techniques and film to reduce secondary radiation and fogging.
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed standards.
  • Perform portable radiographic work in various settings, including Surgery, Intensive Care, Emergency Department, and the morgue.
Specialized Areas of Competence
  • CT Scanning: Perform various CT scans following set protocols or radiologist instructions, instruct patients in preparation for the procedure, and identify anatomies and produce images of pathologies.
  • Interventional Procedures: Prepare examination rooms, ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available, and assist physicians in performing angiographic and vascular procedures.
  • Mammography: Perform quality, routine, and specialty mammographic views, maintain infection control standards, and provide patient education and instruction.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California (CRT).
  • Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, deal tactfully with patients and physicians, and administer first aid and CPR.
