Job Summary

The Camp Recovery Center (Campbell) is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in San Jose, CA. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in our intensive outpatient program, providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals recovering from addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Patient Health: Administer basic care and monitor patient health, utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice to carry out care plan objectives and goals.
  • Customer Service: Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with others to ensure that patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met, and address customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Medication Administration: Provide for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with policies and procedures, physicians' orders, and current practice.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required; one or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Current LPN/LVN license as required by state; CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by the facility).
