As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Endoscopy Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers essential nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This role adheres to the legal scope of practice while following established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

The LVN integrates educational background, technical skills, and effective patient interaction to foster trust and cooperation among patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Utilizing sound judgment and refined clinical skills, the LVN implements the patient's care plan based on the diagnosis promptly and efficiently. Additionally, this position supports departmental operations by managing supplies and performing necessary equipment maintenance, testing, and setup.

Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is paramount to ensure patient privacy and safety, ultimately contributing to optimal patient care delivery.

Well-developed time management and organizational skills, enabling the prioritization of tasks and adherence to standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to meet objectives and deadlines.

General familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Competence in identifying, evaluating, and resolving standard issues by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
