We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overnight Cleaner to join our team at Planet Fitness. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities to ensure an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all common areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and Black Card Spa, according to Planet Fitness cleaning standards.
  • Vacuum floor surfaces and operate the floor scrubber machine according to established schedules.
  • Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans/cleaning centers.
  • Replenish supplies and paper products as needed and communicate inventory needs to the Club Manager.
  • Clean and dust items high off the ground, such as ceiling fans, TVs, and rafters.
  • Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Club Manager.
  • Operate washing machines and dryers.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment, including cleaning the mop bucket and emptying vacuum bags.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club and assist them with any questions or concerns.
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
  • Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals.
  • Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager as needed.
  • Frequently perform a comprehensive walk of all club areas to quickly fix any safety/policy issues and address cleanliness concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work the overnight shift.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing experience is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
