About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at UPMC. As a RN Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing and reassessing patients, and developing individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Care: Administer medications and IV therapy following policy, use nursing protocols and standards to perform and document procedures safely and accurately.
  • Assess and Reassess: Evaluate and document patient and family needs, reassess patients every eight hours or as needed.
  • Plan Care: Involve patients and families in creating care plans, prioritize needs, conduct care conferences, and maintain up-to-date care plans.
Requirements
  • Candidates must hold a current license to practice nursing in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum starting salary of $29.50 per hour (BSN) or $28.00 per hour (non-BSN), with shift differential and sign-on bonus available.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification, and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
