Job Description

Sbarro Great Northern Mall #5573 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our restaurant team. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for achieving restaurant objectives, assigning and directing activities of subordinate employees, and ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures to subordinate managers and team members.
  • Maintain safe working conditions by following and enforcing all Company safety, security, and maintenance policies and procedures.
  • Hire, develop, evaluate, coach, and counsel Managers and Team Members in accordance with Company Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for entire store operations, including systems usage, recipe adherence, payroll and timekeeping procedures, and guest interactions.
  • Manage profit and loss through cash control/security policies and procedures, maintaining inventory, food cost, managing labor, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Take inventory and order/purchase food and supplies while applying appropriate cost control measures.
  • Generate Manager and Team Member schedules to drive sales and profits.
  • Engage in local restaurant marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age, minimum.
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of restaurant or supervisory experience, preferred.
