We are seeking an experienced Aviation Expert to join our team as a Tactical Helicopter Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise to support the development of virtual training solutions for the MH-60 platform.
Key Responsibilities- Translate aviation terminology, procedures, and operations for the Virtual Training Suite (VTS) development team.
- Assist with product progress reporting, scheduling, and customer interface.
- Work closely with customers, supervisors, instructional systems designers, software designers, software engineers, and 3D artists to create interactive mobile, web, augmented reality, virtual reality, desktop training systems, serious games, and distributed learning simulations.
- Provide subject matter expertise through design meetings, storyboard creation, and software content validation.
- Collaborate with the team and other business units to provide software solutions, following best practices to ensure a high-quality standard.
- Bachelor's degree plus at least eight years of applicable experience - or - an associate degree plus at least 12 years of relevant experience in the following NEC (G11A). Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.
- Experience serving as an AWR Instructor within the fleet.
- Ability to obtain/maintain SECRET security clearance.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Military experience as an instructor.
- Familiarity with NETC.
- Familiarity with software development, 3D creation, and gaming is a plus.
