Job Summary

SP Plus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Porter to join our team. As a key member of our shuttle bus operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at our facilities and ensuring the smooth operation of our shuttle buses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on shuttle buses, including fueling, cleaning, and general maintenance.
  • Shovel, plow, or blow snow from entrance and exit ramps and designated areas as needed.
  • Paint and maintain all areas of the facility as directed by the facility manager or supervisor.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the facility manager or supervisor.
  • Assist customers with their needs and resolve any complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the facility manager or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement, depending on the location's hiring needs.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and to communicate with customers and fellow employees. In addition, the employee is required to twist, turn, stretch, and bend on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision and Ability to adjust focus.
