Diesel Marine Engine Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Marine Engine Technician to join our team at W.W. Williams. As a Diesel Marine Engine Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and diagnosing marine engines, as well as performing routine maintenance and emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality repairs and maintenance on inboard marine diesel engines
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Diagnose failure of vessels by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts
  • Inspect vital parts to ensure they are in proper operating conditions
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of diesel repair and maintenance experience in a heavy truck/fleet dealership or shop environment
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting diesel engines
  • Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient use of Caterpillar ET and SI
