Diagnostic Equipment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide installation support, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and refrigeration instruments.
  • Actively support the sale of service contracts and assist sales representatives and service team members with system configurations and upgrades.
  • Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external customers to meet customer expectations and document service administration activities in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in the installation support, maintenance, modification, and/or repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronic, and/or refrigeration instruments or equivalent military experience.
  • Ability to travel throughout the region of Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and surrounding areas.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Troubleshooting and networking/IT system upgrades.
  • Diagnosing and repairing medical devices.
  • Field Service Engineering for electrical/mechanical/biomedical equipment or scientific instruments.
