In this role, the Associate Vendor Relationship Manager is tasked with vendor negotiations, cost optimization, and formulating strategies to enhance sales and profitability within the automotive product sectors.

Collaboration is key, as this position works across various teams to facilitate processes such as line reviews, item setup, vendor onboarding, and comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees supplier relationships with a financial scope of up to $5 million.
  • Conducts vendor negotiations and implements effective practices for cost management and sourcing.
  • Ensures the integrity of product data and supervises item maintenance.
  • Manages contracts and compliance measures to mitigate risks.
  • Develops vendor communication strategies and executes cross-departmental communication plans.
  • Analyzes competitive products and their strategies.
  • Leads project management for assortments and supports category evaluations.
  • Assists in the rollout of new programs and resolves issues as they arise.
  • Drives enhancements in business systems.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience in merchandising and/or retail.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
