Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field is required; a degree in Accounting from an accredited institution is preferred
  • Compliance with or progress towards the 150-hour rule is preferred
  • Prior experience as an intern in a public accounting setting and/or six months to two years of recent public accounting experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with paperless assurance software is preferred
  • Knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards, accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA), and industry-specific regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Caseware and RSM methodology is preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Physical Requirements:

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee will frequently be required to sit, stand, reach, walk, drive, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
