Financial Director

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities. This role requires a strong background in finance, with the ability to drive financial strategy and performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting:
- Develop and oversee the preparation of the annual budget, including short and long-term financial planning.
- Collaborate with department heads to gather budget inputs, review financial assumptions, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
- Forecasting:
- Lead the preparation of periodic financial forecasts, incorporating current performance trends, market conditions, and business initiatives.
- Analyze forecast variances and adjust projections to reflect updated business conditions.
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Month-End Close:
- Manage and coordinate month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Review and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in leading and developing a finance team.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
