Rail Transportation Management Trainee Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rail Transportation Management Trainee in our Central Division. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across our rail network.

Your Role:

As a Rail Transportation Management Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in comprehensive leadership and railroad operations training to develop your skills and knowledge in rail operations management
  • Assisting in the oversight of conductors and locomotive engineers at rail terminals or within road territories
  • Developing strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to ensure the safe and efficient movement of goods
  • Building effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to drive business results
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in any field, or 4 years of leadership experience in sectors such as military, manufacturing, transportation, and logistics
  • Strong leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
