Assistant General Manager Wanted

Rosa Mexicano Restaurants, a renowned NYC-based casual fine dining restaurant group, is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at our Hackensack location.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee the profit and loss statement and budgeting for the account, ensuring optimal financial performance.
- Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, payroll, and team training, to maintain high standards of service and quality.
- Human Resources: Conduct HR functions, including hiring, progressive counseling, and terminations, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Culinary Leadership: Collaborate with the Chef and management team to create menus and provide top-quality food, while rolling out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary teams.
- Customer Service: Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests, and clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- 5-8 years of upscale restaurant experience in a management position.
- Food Handler certification.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safety, Food Handling, and Sanitation.
- High volume production and catering experience is essential.
- Previous experience managing a budget.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
