Job Title: Branch Operations Manager I

Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a strong presence in the market. We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Operations Manager I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the profitability and growth of the business, ensuring efficient management of sales, distribution, and operations.
  • Manage a team of managers who exercise significant latitude and independence.
  • Ensure the efficient management of staff schedules and operations, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure staff performs job duties in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Oversee the process of setting inventory level targets to meet customer and sales expectations.
  • Plan for future needs and monitor production/manpower levels to ensure continued efficiency.
  • Review plant/branch/area/product reports and provide executive management with analysis and recommendations for business improvements.
  • Perform customer site visits and handle issues that are high-impact and/or elevated for resolution.
  • Ensure alignment of area priorities with broader organizational initiatives.
  • Set the culture and tone for the area of responsibility.
  • Involved in setting organization's timelines and business objectives.
  • Interact frequently with internal and external management concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in the industrial gas industry or related managerial experience.
  • Ability to function independently and make logical, rational decisions in a wide variety of situations.
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, employees, and management, possessing excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, AS400, and CU.
  • In-depth knowledge of cylinder gases and processes.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Knowledgeable in all regulatory agencies, including FDA, DOT, LCU, OSHA, and EP.
  • No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
