Branch Operations Manager I

Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with a strong presence in the market. We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Operations Manager I to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the profitability and growth of the business, ensuring efficient management of sales, distribution, and operations.
- Manage a team of managers who exercise significant latitude and independence.
- Ensure the efficient management of staff schedules and operations, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure staff performs job duties in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Oversee the process of setting inventory level targets to meet customer and sales expectations.
- Plan for future needs and monitor production/manpower levels to ensure continued efficiency.
- Review plant/branch/area/product reports and provide executive management with analysis and recommendations for business improvements.
- Perform customer site visits and handle issues that are high-impact and/or elevated for resolution.
- Ensure alignment of area priorities with broader organizational initiatives.
- Set the culture and tone for the area of responsibility.
- Involved in setting organization's timelines and business objectives.
- Interact frequently with internal and external management concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience in the industrial gas industry or related managerial experience.
- Ability to function independently and make logical, rational decisions in a wide variety of situations.
- Ability to communicate well with customers, employees, and management, possessing excellent written and verbal skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, AS400, and CU.
- In-depth knowledge of cylinder gases and processes.
- Strong organization skills.
- Knowledgeable in all regulatory agencies, including FDA, DOT, LCU, OSHA, and EP.
- No DUI/DWI or other alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
