Position Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Property Management Assistant to support the Property Manager in the daily management and leasing functions at our upscale residential community. This luxury apartment complex features high-end finishes and an exceptional amenity package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize communication tools such as monthly late notices and demand letters to manage and collect overdue rental payments, while analyzing delinquencies to guide collection strategies.
  • Process vendor invoices through accounting software, ensuring timely submission to corporate finance.
  • Engage in leasing activities, including conducting tours for potential residents, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate the lease renewal process by preparing renewal documents and communicating options to residents.
  • Address resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the annual management plan and budget development for the property, aligning with the owner's goals.
  • Assist in generating required leasing reports and financial documentation for ownership review.
  • Oversee the performance of property staff in resident assistance and front-line management tasks, exercising independent judgment in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Supervise maintenance, engineering, and security operations, conducting inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring performance standards are met and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers to maintain insurance compliance for vendors and residents.
  • Support the move-in and move-out processes for residents.
  • Organize resident events and manage communications with the community.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in residential leasing with a strong track record of closing sales is essential, along with a solid grasp of accounting and financial principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi software is required.
