ServiceNow Developer Job Description

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for leading the implementation of ServiceNow solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of ServiceNow and the ability to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the business and their processes, translating business requirements into development. The ServiceNow Developer will be working with a team of people newer to ServiceNow and will be responsible for bridging the gap between the platform team and the project team. The role will involve hands-on development, working with the business to understand their needs and implementing solutions to meet those needs. The ServiceNow Developer will also be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of APIs and the ability to apply that knowledge to current API integrations with ServiceNow. Strong JavaScripting skills within a ServiceNow environment are also required. Experience working with the business and their processes, translating business requirements into development, is also a must. The role will be 100% remote and interviews will be conducted through Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the implementation of ServiceNow solutions

* Work with the business to understand their needs and implement solutions to meet those needs

* Provide technical guidance and support to the team

* Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications

* Collaborate with the business and project teams to ensure successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of ServiceNow experience and/or 2 years of experience with defined work in Customer Service Management

* Strong understanding of APIs and the ability to apply that knowledge to current API integrations with ServiceNow

* Strong JavaScripting skills within a ServiceNow environment

* Experience working with the business and their processes, translating business requirements into development

* Experience in the insurance industry is preferred, but not required

Preferred Skills:

* Experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Implementation Specialist

* Strong understanding of ServiceNow Customer Service Management and Financial Services Operations applications

* Experience working with Agile development methodologies
