Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Lead Operations Strategist, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Strategically planning staffing needs based on operational demands and productivity metrics.
  • Setting short-term objectives for both individuals and departments.
  • Creating and managing departmental schedules to optimize workflow.
  • Assessing and preparing for departmental requirements, including supplies and equipment, based on seasonal trends.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives by developing system enhancements and process optimizations.
  • Crafting and updating training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Addressing and resolving issues, escalating concerns related to personnel, processes, or systems as necessary.
  • Providing constructive performance feedback to ensure standards are met and exceeded.
  • Maintaining productivity levels to achieve service benchmarks and departmental objectives.
  • Communicating productivity metrics effectively within the department.
  • Overseeing the preparation and maintenance of essential reports to support departmental functions.
  • Compiling periodic reports for senior management to track progress and achievements.
  • Ensuring compliance with employee safety training and addressing any safety-related incidents.

Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proven track record in mentoring, training, and developing team members for career advancement and performance enhancement.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • The capability to serve as the primary information resource for the team, ensuring compliance and consistency while taking corrective actions when necessary.

Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
  • Leading and nurturing a team of frontline supervisors and associates in alignment with Deckers principles.
  • Maintaining compliance and consistency while addressing team needs.
  • Creating and communicating processes and standard work procedures effectively.
  • Identifying and spearheading process improvement initiatives utilizing lean methodologies.
  • Developing and executing productivity plans by analyzing work forecasts and collaborating with other leaders.
  • Sharing best practices with peers and leaders across departments.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
  • Coordinating and delegating project tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Engaging in inventory analysis and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conducting regular inventory audits to uphold quality assurance standards.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
