Assistant General Manager

Join Virginia Textile Service, Inc., a leading linen rental supply and commercial laundry company, as we seek an experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the management of a standalone business, playing a critical role in our corporate team environment.
- Direct oversight of management staff, including sales, customer service, and back office teams.
- Supervise and support management staff, ensuring the successful operation of the business unit.
- Manage multi-functional areas, including warehouse, office administration, route distribution, and outside sales departments.
- Coordinate and ensure all corporate training and procedure guidelines are being met for all associates.
- Responsible for all company assets, including building, equipment, fleet, inventory, accounts receivable, and monitoring and collection.
- Represent the company in the community and promote our values of resource conservation and social responsibility.
- Previous management/supervisory experience.
- Strong management skills, including conflict resolution and training.
- Knowledge of product and equipment, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and telephone skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
