- Security and Emergency Protocols: Understand and execute all security and emergency protocols, including responding to emergencies and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.
- Training and Development: Assist in training employees, provide on-the-job training, and develop training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing store finances, including controlling expenses, managing cash handling, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; basic computer skills and knowledge of retail operations preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a convenience store or retail environment.
- Skills: Excellent customer service skills, leadership and management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds; ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (90%), sitting (10%); ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods; ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus; ability to smell and identify odors; ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications.
