Your role will encompass navigating the intricate relationship between professional video production and enterprise IT solutions. We are looking for a candidate distinguished by their extensive experience in managing large-scale multimedia systems and infrastructures, setting industry standards with their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Oversight and Innovation: Manage complex, high-performance, mission-critical multimedia systems, and develop innovative infrastructure solutions to enhance production capabilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience in managing critical server, storage, and networking hardware, particularly with Mac OS, Rocky Linux, CentOS, Red Hat, StorNext, and enterprise-grade Ethernet and other networking systems.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Effectively analyze and troubleshoot intricate systems, formulating and implementing solutions promptly to ensure continuous production uptime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Organize maintenance schedules and perform proactive system diagnostics to uphold system integrity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication across diverse teams to support and integrate creative workflows.
- Technological Advancement: Lead the coordination and management of multimedia infrastructure, advocating for and integrating new technologies based on user needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Maya Proficiency: Required expertise in Maya, demonstrating skills in 3D modeling, animation, and rendering.
- StorNext Experience: Proven experience with StorNext, showcasing the ability to manage extensive storage solutions.
- Post-Production Engineering Background: At least 5 years of experience reflecting a comprehensive understanding of video post-production technologies and workflows, including large-scale editing, Final Cut Pro, Nuke, and After Effects.
- Operating System Experience: Essential experience with Mac OS, Rocky Linux, CentOS, and Red Hat operating systems, indicating a broad capability in managing various system environments.
- Linux Scripting and Automation Skills: Experience with scripting and automation on Linux platforms, illustrating skills in streamlining operations and enhancing system efficiency.
- Communication Abilities: Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
