Job Summary

Jerry's Enterprises Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sanitation and Receiving Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Sanitation Department to ensure efficient labor utilization and effectiveness in meeting facility needs.
  • Execute assigned food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities to support our SQF System.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are executed properly to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Communicate equipment and building structure issues that prevent sanitation efforts.
  • Ensure corrections to mitigate sanitation issues are implemented and documented.
  • Manage facility receiving, invoicing, shrink control, and inventory to ensure proper product control and meet gross profit goals.
  • Supervise and assist to ensure accuracy and organization of receiving function.
  • Take and document accurate inventory.
  • Ensure proper product handling to control shrinkage and waste.
  • Accurately count, record, and report waste to leadership.
  • Order sanitation supplies as needed.
  • Assure that all sanitation procedures are efficient and cost-effective.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a sanitation or receiving role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

The Sanitation and Receiving Lead will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and wet surfaces. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
