SBA Lender Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SBA Lender to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As an SBA Lender, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with our clients and providing expert advice on SBA lending opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Relationship Building: Offer financial advice and counsel on SBA loans and related services to existing and potential customers.
  • New Business Development: Identify and approach potential customers to develop new business opportunities and cross-sell additional bank services.
  • Loan Origination and Underwriting: Solicit, negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of SBA loans, ensuring adherence to all lending policies and procedures.
  • Customer Account Management: Manage ongoing customer accounts and develop strategies to expand loan portfolios.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about SBA loan programs, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in SBA lending within the local market.
  • Success in Achieving Goals: Demonstrated success in achieving high production goals and meeting lending targets.
  • Strong Track Record: Strong track record of expanding loans, client relationships, and cross-selling bank products.
  • Familiarity with SBA Loan Processing: Familiarity with SBA loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
  • Excellent Underwriting Skills: Excellent underwriting skills and a thorough understanding of SBA loan guidelines.
