Travel Nurse ICU RN Job Opportunity

United Health Care Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse for a challenging ICU RN position in Bakersfield, California.

Unit Notes
Cerner Required

- Unit: ICU
- # beds: 20
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 2
- EMR: Cerner
- Floating: Tele or med surg - will be floated to sister facility - Mercy SW.
- Floor specific orientation: Minimum 2 shifts plus one for Cerner
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro, radical cancer surgeries, DaVinci, abdominal cases, urology cases, CVA, TPA, not a specific cardiac facility, so true cardiac needing intervention gets sent to memorial, small amount vascular surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis typically no peds, rotaprone, glycemic control, oncology patients
- Additional Notes: Nurses will work both campuses but rare they would float mid shift; night shift minimum 2 yrs. experience for both campuses
