  • Conduct sourcing, purchasing, negotiation, and expediting of all maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) commodities.
  • Ensure compliance with established purchasing processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and pricing to secure optimal pricing and delivery timelines.
  • Source and place purchase orders with designated suppliers for required materials and services.
  • Document and report on cost savings achieved through procurement activities.
  • Monitor and report on return on investment (ROI) savings.
  • Manage inventory levels to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and materials, including historical pricing and status updates.
  • Prepare monthly reports and maintain comprehensive inventory records as assigned.

  • Participate in meetings and planning sessions as required.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding internal communications.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma with relevant experience; a two-year Associate degree is preferred.
  • Experience in sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating for MRO, automotive, and industrial products.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Proven negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize quality while pursuing cost reductions.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Adaptability to changing situations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
