About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a Fiber Splicer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our fiber optic networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and test end-to-end fiber optic networks
  • Utilize fusion splicers, test equipment, and other tools to ensure network continuity and quality
  • Collaborate with fiber engineers to design and implement fiber optic networks
  • Work in outdoor utility construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in fiber splicing and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime
