Research and Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Documentation Analyst to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting documentation research activities to support the sustainment and enhancement of the user interface.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Documentation: Participate in the basic concept, design, and testing of the software user interface through research of policies, procedures, and other technical documentation.
- Logistics Support: Provide general logistics support in sustainment, knowledge of military systems associated with testing, operational use, maintenance, and sustainment of equipment and technical data support.
- Documentation and Analysis: Develop, review, validate, and analyze policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Meet with contractors, users, and maintainers to document/assist the MAT Team with the overall sustainment functionality of the system, support concerns, and recommended sustainment plans.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED and 10+ years' experience OR Bachelor's degree and 6+ years' experience working with, sustaining, and supporting military equipment.
- Clearance: This position requires CUI access (ADP-III, IT-3, Tier 1 investigation) and general user network permissions with the potential of obtaining a Secret clearance.
Skills and Abilities:
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), and Outlook.
- Communication and Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
