Job Summary

As a key member of the Human Resources team at Montefiore Medical Center, the HR Business Partner will provide strategic support to senior line management in achieving business objectives and initiatives. This role will consult with management on staffing requirements, employee retention, and associate needs, while coordinating HR specialty services as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide human resources services to assigned senior line management to support business units in meeting their objectives
  • Consult with management on staffing requirements, employee retention, and associate needs
  • Coordinate HR specialty services as needed, including labor relations and employee relations
  • Develop and implement short- and long-range planning for business units
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as HR Generalist or 3-5 years' experience in specialty area
  • Demonstrated customer service and collaboration skills
  • Labor relations knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
