Front Desk Manager

This is an entry-level management position responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements. The Front Desk Manager will oversee the front office areas, including Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. The goal is to ensure guest and employee satisfaction and achieve the operating budget. The Front Desk Manager will assist in completing financial and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting Management of Front Desk Team
- Supporting Progress Toward Guest Services and Front Desk Goals
- Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Supporting Projects and Policies
- Supporting Handling of Human Resource Activities
The Front Desk Manager will be responsible for:
- Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others
- Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors
- Handling employee questions and concerns
- Supporting daily Front Desk shift operations
The Front Desk Manager will also be responsible for:
- Supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards, and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others
- Participating in department meetings and continually communicating a clear and consistent message regarding the Front Desk goals to produce desired results
The Front Desk Manager will work closely with the Front Office and Front Desk Manager to ensure the successful completion of daily shift requirements.
