Staff Pharmacist Opportunity

Nexus HR Services is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Oakland, CA.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Registered Pharmacist in long-term care and/or retail settings and must be a licensed pharmacist in California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify prescriptions and manage drug interactions to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide valuable medication information and counseling to patients.
  • Work independently and demonstrate leadership in the practice of pharmacy.
  • Supervise pharmacy support personnel and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Implement policy and regulatory required record systems and processes for the pharmacy.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist in California in a retail or long-term care setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in CA required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and commute or relocate to Oakland, CA.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
