Full-time Biology Faculty Position

InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our faculty as a full-time Biology Instructor.

  • Teach a variety of biology courses, including General Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Biology, Genetics, and Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Assignments may include teaching at multiple college locations and at times that meet student, program, and college needs, including evening and weekend classes.

As a full-time Biology Instructor, you will be expected to spend at least 40 hours per week on:

  • Direct instruction and teaching.
  • Preparation and evaluation of instruction.
  • Accessibility to students through office hours and other means.
  • Committee assignments and service to the college and community.
  • Advising and mentoring students.
