About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Field Supervisor to oversee our team of field technicians and ensure exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of field technicians, providing coaching and corrective action as needed.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to interview, hire, train, and manage field technicians.
  • Create and execute new hire orientation and ongoing training programs for field technicians.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs with field technicians to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching on customer service, technical skills, and product knowledge.
  • Ensure field technicians understand and execute three-point customer contact for service/maintenance calls, data entry, phone setup, and information transfer.
  • Maintain and review call-backs on maintenance and service calls, identifying issues and patterns, and providing solutions.
  • Regularly update the Service Manager on training, customer service, personnel matters, and related issues.

  • Strong knowledge of equipment, tools, and methods commonly applied in repairing air conditioning and heating equipment.
  • Knowledge of principles of operation of HVAC and/or plumbing systems and safety practices.
  • Accurate diagnostics ability.
  • Excellent ability to explain technical information to clients.
  • Computer knowledge and ability to apply necessary software tools, such as time keeping, customer billing, and credit card payments.
