Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee comprehensive project leadership for new product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Managing project-specific P & L responsibilities.
  • Leading and coordinating all facets of the project team, including financials, timelines, sourcing, team dynamics, and customer service.
  • Acting as the intermediary between Sales, Senior Management, and the project team to communicate expectations and deliver results.
  • Organizing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams for new product development projects.
  • Planning and executing projects effectively within budget and on schedule.
  • Assessing new business opportunities, including detailed cost evaluations.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer interaction.
  • Ensuring effective and positive communication with customers, team members, management, and external sales representatives.

All employees are expected to comply with DEA, EPA, FDA, and cGMP regulations as they pertain to company operations, as well as adhere to all safety protocols. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Additional duties related to departmental objectives may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with cGMP regulations.
  • Experience in direct customer engagement and relationship management.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of business plans and their financial implications.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Windows-based computer applications.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements

  • A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, preferably with an advanced degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Experience overseeing and managing new product development project teams.
