We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Radiology team at UPMC - Pittsburgh Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care services, including conducting medical exams, taking medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct image-guided procedures and fluoroscopic exams, and provide hands-on experience in radiology.
- Work independently, with 90% of your time spent performing procedures and 10% dedicated to completing orders, notes, and other tasks.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA).
- Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current CPR certification.
- Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 clearances.
- Minimum 3 years of experience or completion of a post-graduate residency.
