Job Summary:

The Environmental Service Worker will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff. This includes performing routine cleaning tasks, adhering to infection control and universal precaution policies, and respecting resident confidentiality and rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean resident rooms, break rooms, nurse's stations, halls, offices, and other assigned areas.
  • Perform daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
  • Respect confidentiality and resident's rights.
  • Follow dress code according to department policies.
  • Respect and show kindness to all residents.
  • Assure that floors are free of hazardous debris.
  • Practice good body mechanics in regards to lifting.
  • Protect and maintain all work areas in accordance with facility safety policies.
  • Perform tasks such as wash over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc. as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
