Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Sports Coach/Official to join our team at i9 Sports - Puget Sound, WA. As a critical role on our sports fields, you will be responsible for enforcing rules, cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for our programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and enforce the i9 Sports rules books to ensure a fun, learning, and safe environment for all players.
  • Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
  • Keep time and score during games, manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and solve problems.
  • Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
  • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and some evenings.
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.

Compensation: Salary range is $24.00, DOE.
