Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in compliance with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required.
  • Provide estimates for the time needed for extra repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, as well as a background check.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • B level qualifications, including expertise in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
  • Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
