Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Dayton Children's. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic exams using advanced imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic exams on patients of all ages using the Philips SkyLight gamma camera and associated equipment.
  • Prepare radiopharmaceutical doses and maintain quality control records.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure adherence to quality parameters set by the Ohio Department of Health and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
  • Provide patient education and advocacy, recognizing each patient's unique healthcare needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth continuum of care for patients.
Requirements
  • High School/GED required; Associate's Degree in science preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, with a focus on pediatrics preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification by NMTCB required.
  • CPR certification required.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
