Job Title: Nuclear Medical Technologist

Unit: Nuclear Medicine Department


Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


Facility: Miami Valley Hospital North



As a Nuclear Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures with precision and accuracy. This includes the administration of radiopharmaceuticals, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. You will work independently, utilizing your professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition and ensure patient safety.


You will also be responsible for coordinating patient flow and activities within the Nuclear Medicine department, including radiation protection practices. Additionally, you may be required to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.


This role may involve on-call responsibilities, requiring you to be flexible and adaptable in your work schedule.


Requirements:


  • Independently performs nuclear medicine procedures
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals and operates equipment
  • Coordinates patient flow and activities within the department
  • Maintains equipment in good working condition
