Position Overview:
The Division Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in conducting financial analyses that support the Division Operations team in evaluating financial and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing quarterly forecasts and the annual financial plan.
  • Consolidate budget submissions from various departments and conduct thorough budget analyses.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and contractors.
  • Execute month-end responsibilities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Analyze overhead performance and establish benchmarks for monitoring.
  • Generate reports and analyses for management, including variance reports and operational metrics.

Management Responsibilities:
Mentorship and coaching without direct reports.

Scope of Impact:
Decisions affect the division.

Departmental Responsibility:
Single department oversight.

Budgetary Responsibility:
No direct budgetary oversight.

No direct reports.

No indirect reports.

Physical Requirements:
As applicable.

Education Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or a related field). A Certified Public Accounting License (active or inactive) is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting, with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
